Monster Ball Volunteers Needed!

Our annual Monster Ball is happening and we need your help! The dance will be held on Friday, October 29 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the WMJH cafeteria. The cost is $5 pre-sale or $7 at the door. Students can come in costume, school appropriate, with no mask covering their entire face. Please let us know if you can volunteer to help or you can donate items.

ROAR Store Volunteers

The ROAR store is open for the students and we can use volunteers to help us run it. Every Wednesday we have our PBIS ROAR store open for students to shop and spend the points that they have received for being a respectful and responsible Jaguar. Fun Food Friday

We are getting ready for our next Fun Food Friday on November 19. This time we will be offering prepaid meals from Chick-fil-a, Hungry Howies, and Whataburger. If you want your student to have these options, you must prepay for them on the Pay-n-Go site at https://katyisd.revtrak.net/. The tile will only be open from October 18 - November 12.

SpeakUp App

SpeakUP is the anonymous reporting platform that students, parents, and patrons can use to report safety concerns, bullying, threats of violence, drug use, as well as any other concerns related to student physical or mental health. SpeakUP is available for download in the Apple Store or Google Play. It is also available on all district websites, computers, and district devices. SpeakUP provides an opportunity for the Katy ISD community to anonymously provide valuable information to district administration and law enforcement that will help keep our students safe.

Intermittent School to Home Academic Support

Students who attend in-person learning and test positive for COVID-19, elect to isolate due to COVID, or any other medical condition requiring an extended absence, will have access to the Intermittent Home to School learning option, allowing students to access and stay current on assignments through the Katy ISD Learning Management System (Canvas). Intermittent School to Home is not a virtual program, such as KVA, and students cannot exceed a total of 20 cumulative days utilizing this option.

Student Covid Testing

Katy ISD, in conjunction with the Texas Education Agency, continues to provide free Covid-19 testing to any school age student. Parental/Guardian permission is required for all students below the age of 18 prior to testing as well reservations to reserve a time slot for your student.
