Principal's Message
- Our Nutrition and Wellness classes competed in a Chopped challenge where they showed off the skills they learned throughout the semester by creating tacos.
- Eight students spent the night in the Theater writing scripts for fellow students to direct and act in. The theater is an unbelievable space that showcases our actors and musicians.
- Students and staff showed up to cheer on our Unified Basketball team. The love and support shown to one another during this game made me so proud to work with each of these young people!
- Last weekend, the San Juan Music Education Association had their Solo and Ensemble Festival at Sehome. Hundreds of musicians and supporters came to hear the music and celebrate the work of students from around the area.
Every day, we have the best students learning from a skilled and loving staff in a state of the art building. What more could we ask for?!? I feel so incredibly blessed and humbled to get to serve each one of them.
As we head into the second semester, I am excited about what lies ahead of us. We continue to focus on our core covenants of perseverance, integrity, respect, and inclusivity. We always have more work to do in each of these areas. But, we have a vision and direction for the work that we do each day. So we march confidently into the next semester excited by the work ahead of us.
Thank you for all you do to support your child and your partnership with Sehome High School. Our community is greater because of the work we do together!
