attendance policy and coronavirus update
Big Hollow parents/guardians-
Please visit our website (https://www.bighollow.us/parents/coronavirus) to view several coronavirus resources for you to review if you so choose. Please know that our staff is spending extra time sanitizing key areas each day. We have also emphasized hand-washing with our students, especially in the PK-4 buildings.
Important note: We have decided to put a hold on enforcing our current “10-day” absence policy. It is essential to the health of our students that you not send a child to school who is not feeling well. We do not want our attendance policy to get in the way of making this decision to keep your child home if you need to.
If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you.

Acknowledge inappropriate behavior every time. This doesn't mean that everything has to be written up as a minor or a major, but inappropriate behavior cannot be ignored!

PD during prep time
If you are given the opportunity for prep time make-up, it's completely ok to switch up your lesson plans and allow your students time on Lexia or Dreambox or MyOn. I know that Jen works really hard to give as much notice as possible, but sometimes there just isn't much advance notice. Let me know if you have any questions.
