Meet Ms. Ward and Ms. Medina
International School of Panama 1.3
I am so thrilled to be starting at ISP this year teaching a wonderful bunch of 1st graders! We are going to have a fantastic time together, learning as much as we can, and building lasting friendships along the way. I look forward to working with each student to meet them where they are and push them to their highest potential.
Meet Ms. Ward
I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, where I learned my love for swimming, sailing, hiking and biking, and traveling. I come from a very active family and love to be outdoors exploring.
I attended Wake Forest University where I graduated with an Elementary Education degree and a minor in Psychology. I went to teach in Washington, DC, where I taught 1st grade in a public charter school. My students were the reason I stayed for as long as I did, but my heart wanted a new adventure. I have traveled near and far my entire life, but I had a strong desire to live in and learn about a new land. I made moves to find an international teaching position, and fell in love with Panama and ISP.
So far, I have loved every minute of being here. It has only been three weeks, but so far, the hospitality and warmth that I have felt is abundant.
