50+ Program
Columbia Parks & Rec's Hillcrest Community Center
What we do:
Columbia Parks and Recreation's 50+ Program offers a variety of recreational opportunities for those 50 years and older. The Waters-Moss Memorial Wildlife Memorial Area is home to the 50+ Program. The Hillcrest Community Center, Moss Building and Water's House are programmed for weekday use for the 50+ Program and the Osher Lifelong Learning Program. In the evenings, Life Enrichment classes are offered for all ages and on weekends the Moss and Water's House are available for rent.
We will be offering a limited number of 50+ activities, while maintaining room capacity limitations and social distancing of 6 feet, as required by Health Order 2020-06. Activities that aren’t able to meet these requirements will not be offered at this time. Listed in the newsletter are those that can work if we keep a 6 foot distance. The programs we cannot offer at this time include Potlucks, games/cards/puzzles and Explorer Trips.
Your safety is very important to us. Our staff will be sanitizing common surfaces and touch points throughout the day. Below are the guidelines we are following and ask you to follow.
