Pickleball - Year Round

Feel like a champion playing this exciting paddle game called Pickleball! Now you and your friends can join thousands of other people playing this net court game. Pickleball is a combination of Ping Pong, Tennis, and Badminton and has been enjoyed for over 45 years by people of all ages. Instructors will be on hand to assist beginners. Equipment is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Players of all skill levels welcome. You do not need to bring a partner.

Yoga

This class is great for beginners and
all experience levels.You will spend
time exploring postures with slow
movements and ease into gentle
postures from seated to standing.
We will also explore the usage of
the wall, but most importantly learn
how to breathe and incorporate the
breath with movement. Students
should bring a Yoga mat and props
such as blocks and straps.

30 & Over Basketball - Year Round

Bring your friends for a 5-on-5 game on a full basketball court. No need to pre-register. You pay at the door. Single players welcome.

Zumba - Fall Classes

The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and calorie burning, body energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Come enjoy Zumba with us!

Gymnastics - Fall Classes

Gymnastics A fun and energetic gymnastics environment involving tumbling, beam, and bars. Learn to jump, bounce, tumble, and balance under the hands-on supervision of one of the area’s best gymnastics teachers, Cindy of Heavenly Tumbles. This is a great way to try gymnastics with minimal commitment. Beginners and more advanced students are welcome to sharpen their skills.

Tai Chi - Fall Classes

Tai Chi is for stress relief, mental clarity, personal renewal, and positive thought education. This simple form of Tai Chi focuses on the healing properties of Qigong (Chee-Gung) and consists of gentle movements and focused breathing. No special equipment or space is needed. All participants can get started right away. The class instructor is a Registered Nurse, Naturopathic Doctor, and one of the highest ranking Martial Artists in the world. He will be teaching a healthy modified Yang form.

Self Defense - Fall Classes

Cane Self Defense Training for adults, ages 18-100+. A cane is a simple everyday item that is used for helping one walk, steady themselves, and to bear less weight. But, it could also be used as an adjunct tool for self defense and can save your life from an attack, especially if you know how to utilize it. Both the philosophy of self defense and moves to utilize the cane in your defense will be taught by Grand Master Dr. Ibraham Ahmed, President of the World Martial Arts College.

Karate

Beginning Karate for 4-6 yrs. old

Karate is a martial art, which utilizes the movements of punching, kicking, blocking, and striking for the purpose of self-defense and self-control.

This class introduces the basics of Karate as practiced by the International Shotokan Karate Federation.

Designed to be fun and challenging. So join today!

Swartz Creek Community Mission Board

Our mission is to build a bridge between our school district and community in with the purpose of supporting and serving the needs of our students and members in the community.


The Swartz Creek Community Mission Board is made up of representatives from each of the schools, religious organizations, volunteer organizations, state departments, and businesses within the Swartz Creek community. The board will be chaired by David Simancek, Director of Child and Community Development, who will organize and facilitate the monthly meeting where we discuss and coordinate our activities and school/community service projects and partnerships.

6th Grade Summer Survivor Camp

Summer Survivor Camp is designed to help our 5th grade students gain skills necessary to be more successful during their transition into 6th grade. Taught by 6th grade teachers your students will have next year, the camp will help your child deal with the stress and pressure of having a new school, peers, and high expectations.


August 5-8 (AM Session)
