Hiring Summer Workers - Youth Apprenticeship

There are several areas of opportunity in the Maintenance Department of
Bibb County School District. These positions have been opened because there
is a lot of work to be done over the summer and they wanted to give our students
a chance to apply and earn money while out of school.
The positions are open to juniors and graduating seniors.
Work timeline: May 28th - July 19th
Days/hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
$8.00 per hour, 40 hours per week.
General requirements are:
Proper identification for I-9 verification
Junior or Graduating Senior in high school
Reliable transportation to and from work

Howard HS:
- Increase Advisory Board Participation by 50%.
- Increase CTSO active membership to 80% of total membership.
- Identify and run a DECA State Officer.
- Increase the EOPA Pass Rate to 85%.
- Increase the Pathway Completers retention rate for the Programming Pathway to 50%
- Increase WBL Enrollment to 34 different students who are either internships or co-ops.
- Incorporate the CTAE "What is Your Super Power?" theme into all CTAE initiative and events.
- Implement 1st Annual Mock Interview Fair for all 8th Graders.
- JLC will participate in Spring JLC Drill Meet.
- Implement both a Fall & Spring GeorgiaBEST Certification Process for one grade level
