Day One: July 23, 2018: Overview of Cybersecurity First Principles
Chicago State University completed its 1st day of their 2018 GenCyber Camp.
The Goal of the camp over the course of the week is to:
1) Introduce teachers to cybersecurity first principles and safe online behavior through carefully designed educational activities.
2) Expose teachers to the role of robotics engineering and game design in cybersecurity training through structured hands-on activities.
3) Provide teachers with the teaching methods and resources to use in teaching cybersecurity in the classrooms.
4) Improve teachers’ awareness about the career opportunities in the fields of computer science, engineering, and cybersecurity.
