On April 2 and April 10 I will be holding my free Physics Teacher workshops at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. In this workshop I go over everything a Physics group needs to know in making their field trip. We also go around the park and give the teachers experience making the measurements on the rides. (Starting this year the park is providing acceleration meters on Physics day.) This is also the only place to get the answer key.

If you are interested in learning more about Physics day it's worth the trip. It's free and you get to stay in the park for the rest of the day and you can bring a guest (or your kids)!

For more information or to sign up you can email Dory Oswald at doswald@sftp.com

Please consider submitting a proposal to present your best practices at ECET2NJPA and attend the convening on September 24-25, 2016. ECET2 stands for Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers. It was born out of a desire to provide a forum for exceptional teachers to learn from one another and to celebrate the teaching profession. Workshops at the convening should be designed to inform and inspire colleagues, develop attendees’ leadership potential, and hone their craft. Session proposals may focus on all aspects of education (core content, technology integration, whole child, digital literacy, etc.). Please know you are not limited to these, and we encourage any and all ideas you have for a session you'd like to lead. Proposals are due on April 30. More information is available on our website: http://www.ecet2njpa.org/.

http://www.nextgenscience.org/ has a new look. If you haven't been there in a while be sure to take a peek and share it with your staff.
