CONGRATULATIONS EAGLEVILLE DECA

CONGRATULATIONS to Brittin Hill and Paige Martin for placing at the DECA State convention this past weekend in Chattanooga. Brittin won 4th place in Exam for Retail Merchandising Series and Paige won 1st place Role Play in Sports and Entertainment Marketing Series. Paige went on to qualify to attend National DECA for her series in April. Way to go girls and all that competed.

BOOKS FROM BIRTH

Once again, our district has been asked to support our local Imagination Library, Rutherford Books from Birth.

Their goal is to raise a dollar for every child in the school system. For us, that is approximately $50,000. The monies that we put into this fundraiser directly impact the students of our school district in a positive way.

March, which is National Reading Month is a perfect time to kick off this fundraiser!

CORE VALUE

OUR CORE VALULE THIS 9 WEEKS IS HUMILITY:

Humility , in its simplest sense, is the ability to consider others ahead of oneself. Some say that a humble person doesn't think less of himself; they simply thing of themself less. A genuinely humble person can be confident without being arrogant and can respect others while maintaining their self-respect.
