Staff Shout Outs!

I wanted to give a shout out to Jeanise, Jean F, Sam, Colleen, Traci F, and Daleith for covering in the office when Heather was gone on Monday. Thanks so much for being awesome and flexible! So blessed for our team!

I wanted to shout out to everyone that assisted with accommodations and Iowa Assessment week! Working together to meet the diverse needs of our students isn't always easy, but it's essential. Thanks for all you do daily, and especially during these tests to support our students.

I wanted to thank Brenda R. Jan S. Andrea F. and others from other buildings that have helped cover for band and lessons, and also recorders with 4th grade. Going the extra mile for each other is so amazing to see. It takes a village, and I am so thankful for our tribe.

Shadow a Student Challenge

I am hoping to shadow a student challenge (found on twitter) before spring break. This is a unique look into the day and life of our students through their lens. I have always wanted to do this and have heard of it for a few years now. HERE is the link of you want to explore more into the reason behind this and what it has done for other principals that have taken on this challenge. If you have a student in mind, and wouldn't mind me hanging out one day shoot me an email with some suggestions. Also, if you are interested doing something like this, let me know and I can see what we can arrange.

Last year 1,765 principals took on this challenge in 50 states and 15 countries around the world. I'm excited to join this group of passionate educators this year.
