Hello from Rebecca

Hello Kennedy School Community!

Kennedy School has a rich and vibrant community pulse, and thrives on the warmth and support of all of it’s members - students, staff, and parents.

The PTA is an integral part of life at Kennedy, and is committed to strengthening our unique community spirit by working in close partnership with parents and the school.

I am very excited to join you all, and officially start as your new PTA Administrator. The PTA office will be open as usual from 8.30-10.30am. Please do drop by.

After 17 years, Ms Penny will be sorely missed. I have a lot to learn, but I hope to bring my own approach and am looking forward to seeing all of you in and around school.

Before you look out your fabulous costumes for this year please go to the Sign up sheet and volunteer some of your time.

Be a stall Coordinator

We are also looking for volunteers to coordinate the following activities – please let me know if you would like to coordinate:

· Bar

· BBQ - cooking

· BBQ - sales

· Curry stall - selling tickets

· Hair Spray

· Karaoke Room

· Spooky stories - selling tickets

The coordinator is responsible for setting up the stall, getting it going, and also for arranging the packing up of the stall at the end of the night – but is not expected to be on the stall all night.

The role is all about community – being involved for your child, our families and yourself. Embrace it! Enjoy it!
