ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 2- APRIL 6, 2018
END OF YEAR PDP and SUMMARY CONFERENCE INFORMATION - The following Deadlines are necessary due to County Deadlines, so please do what is needed now to plan ahead:
- End of Year PDPs are due for ALL TEACHERS (Track IV plan accordingly) on Monday, April 2nd, 2018
- The Summative Artifact Information for Standards I-V Data Collection Sheet (The artifacts sheet you submit before summary conferences) is due on Monday April 2, 2018 for Beginning Teachers and (**new**) Friday, April 6, 2018 for Continuing Teachers. We now have an earlier deadline due to contracts/regulations, so the sooner the better. Please email lfricke@wcpss.net with your summative information as soon as you can do so. Thanks to all that have already submitted this information.
We DO NOT HAVE A MAKE UP DAY on Saturday, April 7th OR Saturday, April 14th! Please provide information about hours/time to Ms. Person according to the emails she sent last week. See her for any questions.
PICTURES FOR YEARBOOK: Keep posting your pictures in the Google Yearbook folders titled PUE Pics 2017-18. If you have any question about access to the folder please let Kevin know. Other questions specific to the Yearbook should go to Cameron Johnson.
YEARBOOK PURCHASE DEADLINE: Yearbooks purchase DEADLINE is Monday, April 2. Go to Pleasant Union Yearbook to order your yearbook. You will need to enter Pleasant Union's Job: #4262718
APRIL BOARD ADVISORY COMMITTEE (BAC)-MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Pleasant Union will be hosting the April 16th BAC. The business portion of the meeting starts at 6:00. Special guest is temporary Superintendent, Del Burns.

SPRING FLING UPDATES
Thanks to all that have signed up for volunteering and some special events (dunking booth). PTA has shared with us their appreciation for this. They also shared that they are adding an incentive for the Sumo Wrestling Suits.

DUTIES FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 26- MARCH 30, 2018 Track 4 OUT
- The following teachers will be TRACKED OUT the entire week- Hymel, Roberts, Freer, Stern, Hopper, Shipley, Garrett, Perry, Blocker, Baginski, and Amato. This means we will need help with covering duties!!!
- Please see below where there are **asteriks. If you can help in these areas, please let the office know. If we make an ALL CALL and you can help, please do so. We may need to have lunch in the classroom on certain days if we can't cover duties.
- Specials will run as usual but there will be many SUBSTITUTES in the building. Please be mindful of discipline and remind your students of how we act at PUE.
AM Hallway: ** (Help greet parents/students, check with Ms. Person to see what is needed at the visitor sign-in tables/help with Breakfast traffic)
AM Carpool: Narvaez (Help Safety Patrol, call for more help if needed, monitor carpool lane)
AM Breakfast: Johnson (Work with students regarding lunch numbers, encourage students to eat and get directly to class.)
AM Bus: **(See office if you are unable to help as this is an extra duty. Write down arrival times of buses. Work with Fricke to disembark students, trouble-shoot issues.)
Lunch Duty: Fitzgerald, Johnson, *** SPECIALISTS/SUBS***, Newman, McEwen, Brown, Narvaez
Due to one less TA over this track out the following changes will take place for the next few weeks:

(Start the track in period with consistent behavior expectations. STUDENTS CAN BRING A BOOK TO READ, BUT NOT OTHER OBJECTS (RUBIC'S CUBE, ETC...)
Work with one another to use the "warning" behavior system, train students to pick up trash/sweep, and inform teachers of issues. Do not allow students to flip bottles/get up without permission. Do not hesitate to move a student to a separate seat or to inform the office of repeated issues. Update the seating charts in the notebook as needed. The office will contact you (support staff) if necessary for coverage. THANK YOU FOR DOING LUNCH DUTY.
PM Hallway: Andrews (Check all students for tags in the bus line. If a student does not have a tag, inform Fricke and Ms. Britt ASAP. )
PM Carpool: McEwen, Brown (outside), Cooper, ** (inside), ** (Specialists fill in- contact office is there is a change and to let us know who is covering) (Call carpool numbers. If a parent doesn't have a carpool tag, PLEASE INFORM THE PARENT that they should get one from the office.
PM Bus: Whitley (Call one bus at a time. Write down arrival times. CHECK FOR BUS TAGS ON EACH CHILD'S BOOK BAG. Work with Britt and Barber to trouble-shoot, solve issues. IF YOU HAVE CONFERENCES ETC... LET THE OFFICE KNOW ON MONDAY MORNING.)
