General Statement

The scientific name of the echidna is Tachyglossidea Acuileaste. The class of the echidna is mammalia. The type of family of the echidna is Tachygloss.

Appearance

Echidnas are small solitary mammals covered with spikes and spines. They resemble there antears of South America and other mammals such as hedge hogs.

Most echidna location is in Port Jackson (which is in Australia)

Diet

With a keen sense of smell echidna eats Termites and ants.

Their enemies are foxes, dogs and they can also be killed by cars.
