Greetings from RLS!
What an amazing kick off we have had to the beginning of the school year. Students and teachers are working hard to create learning communities that are respectful and one where there is an excitement for learning in a safe environment. Respectful, Learning, Safe Communities is our vision for this school year.
We could not create this type of environment if it were not for the dedication of our amazing staff. They are a group of people who care deeply for your children and strive to do their best for them each and every day. We are very lucky to have them and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each of them for their hard work as we get this school year up and running.
I also wanted to share with you some amazing accomplishments of our staff members. On opening day, we were able to gather together as a school community to celebrate Mrs. Salvadore and thank her for her 40 years of dedication to the Quabbin Regional School District. When asked, all of the current students who had her in kindergarten stood to show the impact she has made on this current community. It was amazing to think that the number of students standing only represented 7 years of her 40 year career! Thank you, Mrs. Salvadore for your dedication and commitment to the children of this district.
I look forward to seeing many of you this Thursday at our annual Meet & Greet for grades 1-6. Kindergartners do not attend this event as they had theirs before school started. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to show their families their new classroom and to introduce them to their new teacher.
Regards,
Julie
