Classroom Methodology
Onid Elementary School
Classroom Activities
Kids decide what activities they want to do each day, with the week planned out with activities to choose from.
Class Zones
There won’t be a schedule given to the students, instead, they are assigned to a classroom/zone and they have subjects taught in a week's worth of time through activities.
Classroom Setup
- There will be beanbag chairs and furniture, including magnetized chairs that can be pulled up from the ground (allowing for a flexible classroom).
Learning Enviroment
- Kids decide what type of learning environment they want, and can change throughout the year. They choose from auditory, visual, kinesthetic, tactile, or a combination of the three.
