Isotonic, Hypotonic, Hypertonic

Osmosis
Osmosis is type of selective permeability which says how much water is allowed inside the cell.
Isotonic, Hypotonic, and Hypertonic
These three solutions are all types of osmosis which is the regulation of water into the cell. Which is a type of selective permeability.
These are all three types of osmosis
Isotonic solution
Water moves in and out of this cell equally and everything stays the same. The same amount of water is going in and out of the cell
Hypotonic solution.
Water enter the cell cause in to swell up. Some may even swell till they burst. Not enough water is leaving the cell.
Hypertonic solution.
To much water leaves the cell causing the cell to shrink up. Not enough water is coming in.
