Third Grade Newsletter
Week Six: October 6-10, 2014
More About Math
We will continue to practice our facts, including 1's and 0's, which we will learn on Monday. The rest of the week, we will be using what we know to solve word problems and play games to increase our fact fluency! The end of unit one is quickly approaching! We are so proud of how much the third graders have learned so far about multiplication and division.
Pop's Bridge: Our Reading Story for the Week!
This week we will read Pop's Bridge and Bridges. We will also listen for the long O sound, analyse texts by comparing and contrasting, reviewing word endings (-s, -es, -ed, -ing), and will read aloud while working on our expression. We will also identify common and proper nouns.
