Every kid needs a champion | Rita Pierson
How are YOU a champion for OUR kids? How can you continue to build RELATIONSHIPS with your students?
Weekly Gratitudes from Cory & Anna!
- We were so grateful for the teamwork that took place on Tuesday morning for the sixth graders' pancake breakfast. Jenni, Bruce, Heather, Molly, Chris & Abby rocked it cooking and serving them! We appreciate your help!
- We say this a lot, but we truly appreciate the honest, hard talks individuals have with us. It's through these conversations we move towards accomplishing "Learning for All".
- After conferences on Thursday, Cory and I sat in the office for about an hour recapping the day and all of the positive conversations we had and/or heard about with parents and staff. We were pumped to see so many families walking away with free books too! Thank you so much for all of your efforts to communicate with parents about their children's progress.
- We are grateful to all of the families who donated amazing food for all of us to enjoy during conferences and today as well.
Schedule Change Wednesday
Due to the pep rally, we will be making some adjustments to the schedule on Wednesday. We will start dismissing classes at 2:25 pm over the PA.
- 6th Grade- Your final Core will be shortened by 30 minutes
- 7th Grade- Instead of your 2 larger cores in the am, you will run three 45-minute cores in the morning and one 45-minute core in the pm prior to the pep rally. This will also allow you to take a 15 minute recess before the last core.
- 8th Grade- The last elective will get cut short by 30 minutes.

Halloween-Are Warhawks Wearing Costumes?
There has been some discussion in regards to if students will be allowed to wear costumes on Halloween during the school day. We would like your input on this matter, please click this link to give us some input.
Have You Been Booed?
More and more individuals are getting hit everyday, which is awesome! As you get hit, be careful to check around the building to see who still needs to be hit. If you need more "We've Been Booed" posters before passing the bag on, stop in by Anna. Furthermore, if you are one of our final individuals to be BOOED, meaning you can't find anyone else to BOO, you can return the empty bag to Anna. Happy Haunting!
