The Academy for Aquatic Management Systems and Environmental Technology at Lakewood High School

AMSET offers students engaging, hands-on opportunities to explore and discover aquaculture and environmental resource management by providing experiences for students to receive special training in ecology, environmental sciences, marine biology, agroponics, aquaculture, and water resource conservation.

Lakewood's small learning community offers AMSET students a personalized experience with an on-campus lab and a two acre outdoor classroom complete with a pond. Students learn the basics about agroponics, aquaculture and water resource conservation while earning industry certifications. Students will complete project based learning concepts as they identify and create community-based projects that prepare them to be college and career ready.
