Running Club
Students can join running club at any time!
Running club is for all kids in grades k-5 and open to all abilities. We will run on Tuesday/Thursday 4-4:40 pm. Please make sure kids have running shoes, water and appropriate clothing as the weather begins to cool down. Parents are expected to pick up promptly. It's not too late to signup. Parents and kids are all welcome to attend as you are able.
We play! We run! We dance! And most of all, we have fun! The key is to move our bodies and enjoy the company of one another!
The last event is the Return of the Turkey Trot 5K on November 10. This race is optional but always a fun event. A big thanks to volunteer Kim Malcolm for heading running club this year. If you have any questions contact her at klmalcolm2001@gmail.com.

We will line the cars up in a large circle on the school playground with the trunks facing out. You can decorate your trunk with just a bucket of treats or with a lot of Halloween decor. It doesn’t need to be elaborate to participate.
This is a great time for the kids to show off their Halloween costumes with their friends and have fun.
Check out the Playground pdf to get a better idea of the setup.

Halloween Parade of Costumes
Students will change into costumes and parade outside on school grounds, or if weather doesn't cooperate, throughout the school. Parents are welcome to come watch the parade.
ALL costumes must be school appropriate. No scary (blood and gore) or weapon driven costumes. Also please, no hair color, or extreme make-up. All students will be changing into costumes at the same time, so costumes that can be slipped on over the clothes they wear to school, would be greatly appreciated.
Classroom Parties may happen before the parade.

Popcorn Fridays
We are in need of your time this Friday, October 19th from 8:50am - noon.
Right now we only have 2-3 volunteers working the popcorn machine, collecting bins from classrooms, delivering popcorn, as well as collecting monies coming in, 5 to 6 would be ideal.
We need a team to make it work. It is easy work and will be done earlier than noon if we have more help.
Thank you in advance, and I hope to see you there.
