Saturday Latin Tutoring
Ms. Vincent will be holding Saturday Latin Tutoring this Saturday, October 16, in her classroom (room 125) from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bring $5 to stay as long as you want. Students should come prepared with either homework to work on or specific questions or difficulties they need help with.
Character Strong
We started our ‘to be’ lists this week. We talked about what we did not want to be and then found the opposite to be. We will continue with creating our ‘to be’ lists for the following two Wednesdays. Your children are supposed to be looking for someone they admire and ask them what they value and who they try to be. Hopefully, they will ask you.
The plastic bottle cap drive is in full swing.
Save all of your plastic bottle caps over the break and bring them into your legion when we get back. The money raised will be to pay for children to receive cancer treatments in Mexico. The legions with the most bottle caps win their choice of a dress-down day, donut party, and the top 10 legions receive legion points.
