Role of propaganda in WWI

The role of propaganda was to give people a feeling of patriotism and to exaggerate things and make the enemy look extremely bad. Propaganda also made people feel guilty for doing things like wasting food and influenced them to save as much food as possible so the soldiers overseas could have as much food as they could get
