BA Educational Studies

A little bit about me...

I am happily married to my wife, Donna and we have five wonderful children in various ages from adolescent to adult. My family and my own sense of purpose and reason is what motivated me to return to school and secure my degree. I currently work for the public school system as a substitute teacher and a volunteer in the Exceptional Children’s class. I am truly fulfilled in my choice to make a difference in lives of children within the educational environment. I love the chance to make a difference through education. To me it is not only a noble profession, it is a calling.

Currently, I am working to secure my BA in Education Studies with a minor in World History and a specialty in Psychology. I have been enrolled in Ashford since September 2012. I plan on attending graduate school to obtain both my Masters and Doctorate in education. Some of my hobbies are exercising, listening to jazz music, watching classic movies, and being outside in my yard making improvements.

I joined the CHAMPS program to give back to my fellow classmates what has been provided to me: the ability to help a student as he or she begins the rewarding journey of making a difference in their life through continuing education.
