What is going on?
Thank you very much for all the supplies for next week. I really appreciate it. We are still needing seeds and glue sticks.
Apex is in full swing. Please log into the account tonight to mark your child's t-shirt size.
Today our first game changing habit was to be a go-getter! We talked about the importance of seizing opportunities and taking action to make a positive difference in ourselves and the world around us!
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, everyone can be a go-getter! Go-getters inspire the people around them by taking action
Your time is now! So, don’t wait, be GREAT!
Our Jump Challenge winner from the pep rally was Mrs. Darst's 3rd grade class! They will have a glow in the dark dance party with the Apex Team!
Tonight’s challenge is the Login Challenge! See the video below for more details!!

At the end of the week the children will have a Geometry Assessment. This will include needing to know: describing and counting the faces, edges, and vertices of a 3-D shape. Sorting and comparing 2-D and 3D shapes. What is the difference? How are they similar? What is a polygon- no curves, no crosses and no open spaces. In order to make this event a success we need volunteers to lead stations. Our hope is that you will spread the word at your jobs and bring/send a team with you to lead one station. Our primary goal is to expose our students to coding. You don’t have to know how to code in order to volunteer!
Don’t have a station idea? That's ok! We can provide an activity for you. Have your own idea of what you want to do? Great! We love that too.
If you are interested please fill out the google form. Feel free to contact Danielle Jackson, Danielle_Jackson@roundrockisd.org for any other questions. Volunteers sign up here: http://bit.ly/SOESCodejam
