A guided approach to transition to the new Google Sites

From Classic to Fantastic: The New Google Sites

Have you heard? The "new" Google Sites product will be replacing the previous "classic" Google Sites product this year. The new Google Sites is designed to help you create websites without programming experience, optimize across mobile and desktop, and co-build with real-time collaboration. If you are an owner of a classic UH Google Site you will need to take action before the end of this year, 2021. We've created a simple two-step process to help you.

Step 1: Follow our UH Google Sites Decision Guide

This guide will help you to decide whether to migrate, delete, take no action, or consider an alternative (Laulima Lessons) for your classic UH Google Site(s). Then, it will guide you through the necessary action steps based on your decision.

Step 2: If you migrate to the new Google Sites, register for the workshop "From Classic to Fantastic: The New Google Sites"

Tuesday, March 23rd, 1-3pm

This is an online event.

In this hands-on, online workshop, you will be provided with an orientation to the new Google Sites interface and learn how to edit and publish your newly migrated Site(s)... from classic to fantastic! Please click to register below.

Pre-requisite: Migrated UH Classic Google Site(s) to the new Google Sites. Follow the UH Google Sites Decision Guide for steps on how to migrate. Need further assistance? Contact us at or come 15 minutes early to the workshop.
