Definitely A Zero
Andrew Jackson
Andrew Jackson, Not A Hero
Jackson may have been able to help the common man, but how do you think that he has affected everyone else?
Exactly why Jackson was a straight up ZERO
The Trail of Tears
I never really like Jackson as a president, but this was pretty bad. The Trail of Tears was the moment when Jackson kicked a giant amount of natives off of their land even after he was told not to by other people in the government. What Jackson did was that he made it seem like what he was doing a good thing and not a bad thing, he did this by trying to get it to feel like the natives were getting a lot out of leaving as gifts is the agreed. They natives may have gotten their gifts that were promised, but a very large portion of them had died on this trip, which Jackson had forced upon them.
Andrew Jackson just didn't care
Andrew Jackson was a kind of reckless president, he never really wanted to listen to the rules provided. He hasn't done much that had really benefited anyone besides a small group of people, he abuse his power to veto by vetoing basically every law that he didn't like, and he even disregarded the constitution. Jackson didn't really set a good example and probably made plenty of people mad by just wanting to do whatever he wanted to do and not caring about anyone else's opinions.
Destroying The National Bank
Even though Jackson was able to get plenty of the less fortunate more money, it had ruined many opportunities that the rich may have been able to take with the money they could have gotten from the bank. This was not a very smart idea even if he thought what he was doing. Jackson's biggest reason to destroy the bank was because he thought that it was unconstitutional even though a very widely discussed court case had gone on and had explained that the National Bank was in fact constitutional.
