Civilization
The aztec Indians had dynamic civilizations in the Americas. They were founded in 1376 They had a populations 15 million in about 500 cities. The aztec indians had a government consisting of 4 basic classes. Slaves were usually people captured in wars or people who were in debt they could buy their freedom or it could be earned.Peasants were the workers/ crafters, lower levels warriors were also classified as peasants. Advanced Writing Systems of keeping records. They kept tax records, historic records. They have very strange burial customs. They buried their ancestors under their houses and were cremated.
Culture
The Aztec were Columbian Mesoamerican people from Central Mexico. The Capital of the Aztec Empire was Tenochtitlan it was built on raised Island in Lake Texcoco. The Aztec grew corn, had social classes, and a calendric system. Everyone would go to school despite your gender and your social class, though boys received a wider education than girls. The girls would be taught how to cook, take care of a family and run a home. While boys learned how to fight and leadership skills. Older girls would either get married or stay at their temple and work. Guys would join the military or begin their trades. They played sports and were very creative and artistic. They did poetry sculpting and drawing. They played a game Ullamaliztli.
Religon
The Aztec were Mesoamerican. Mesoamerican believed in Human Sacrifice. Had religious festivals which were held according to their calendar. They built great temples they worshiped in The religious center of the Aztec Capital was Tenchtitlan there was a wall worshiping structure that housed several other small temples.
Geography
The Aztecs were located in the middle of a Mexico Valley in the middle of lake Texecco. Their lives provided nourishment from agriculture goods. It stretched from the Pacific Ocean to Gulf of Mexico. Their empire consisted of city-states with 3 allied capitals, the main capital Tenochtitlan.

Montezuma II the Aztec Ruler. He opened an Aztec Empire to Cortes because he thought he was a God. Cortes and his men betrayed them at the City Tenochtitlan.
