Lubbock-Cooper vs. Frenship - Oct. 9

Your Lubbock-Cooper Pirates will face the Frenship Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9 at Jones AT&T Stadium on the Texas Tech University campus!


The Jones is operating at a limited capacity, and each team has been allotted 5,000 tickets for the game. Season tickets purchased by the families of varsity football student participants (varsity players, varsity cheerleaders, trainers, managers, band members, and pom squad members) will be honored. The remaining tickets will be sold online.

ONLINE TICKET SALES WILL OPEN AT 12:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 5. LCISD staff and the families of all LCISD students will receive the link via email, and it will also be posted on the district website (

Lubbock-Cooper fans MUST purchase tickets through the links provided by Lubbock-Cooper. Frenship fans will purchase tickets through separate links. (This is very important, as the two schools use separate ticketing systems.)

Tickets will be priced at $8 for adults and $2 for students. Each buyer will be permitted a maximum of six tickets.

Tickets will NOT BE SOLD AT THE GATE. All tickets must be purchased online prior to the game.

NO ADMISSION PASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. (Gatekeepers are not permitted to accept Gold Cards, District Passes, Student Passes, etc.) To enter the game, you must have a ticket in-hand.)


Lubbock-Cooper will be the home team, and the west side of Jones Stadium is designated for Lubbock-Cooper fans. Lubbock-Cooper fans MUST ENTER THROUGH GATE 1 OR GATE 3. These are the only gates at which Lubbock-Cooper tickets will be accepted. (The two schools use separate ticketing systems, and Lubbock-Cooper tickets cannot be processed at any other entrance.) Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

Texas Tech University has blocked off seating for social distancing. Seats covered with signage may not be used. Please respect all seating restrictions.

The Pirate Pride Band will be seated in Section 1.


Fans are asked to park in lot C-1 on the west side of the stadium. All dorm parking lots are off limits, and tickets and towing will be enforced for any vehicles parked in those lots.


  • Clear bag policy will be enforced.

  • No outside food or drink permitted.

  • Items prohibited by TTU: artificial noise makers, banners, coolers, food and beverages, umbrellas, poles such as selfie sticks, seat backs wider than 16” with armrests, pockets, zippers, covers

  • Concession stands will be open.

CTE Spotlight - Electrical Tech

In Electrical Technology, students will gain knowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce as an electrician or building maintenance supervisor, prepare for a postsecondary degree in a specified field of construction or construction management, or pursue an approved apprenticeship program. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in safety, electrical theory, tools, codes, installation of electrical equipment, and the reading of electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Electrical Tech students also have the opportunity to receive an electrical tech certification.
