IBMA Weekly Update
Week of January 6th
Coordinator Update
Welcome Back!
I hope that you all have had a wonderful holiday break and are starting the New Year off to a good start.
The second semester is usually busier than the fall. Be certain to look through the newsletter each week for updates and important information related to the academy as well as opportunities for volunteering and enrichment activities.
Please make sure you check your Schoology for any message from me. If you receive credit for your enrichment you should see a “100” for your assignment(s). If you upload your enrichment assignments but did not see, the “100” check the message on Schoology. If you have not uploaded your enrichments or volunteer hours please do so ASAP. The link for volunteer hours is open. If you volunteered over winter break be sure to upload the hours as soon as possible so that you do not forget or loose the documentation form. Use the link Here to submit hours. I am running reports at the end of this week and will be sending out warning/probation email/letter to students who have not met the academy requirements.

Doodle for Google
This year’s Doodle for Google theme is:
“I SHOW KINDNESS BY...”
Friendship, smiles, thank yous, and hugs.
But kindness is so much more than just being nice. This year’s theme invites you to tell us how you show kindness. Is it by helping around your home? Volunteering in your community’s green space? Maybe it’s comforting someone who’s down, or picking up trash in the park.
However you define it, let us know how you bring a little bit more kindness into the world. Take your ideas and bring them to life in your doodle!
