The Marshall Honor Society Scholarship Committee is excited to announce the academic incentive award winner for term 1. Members of the senior class had the highest percentage of students passing all of their classes for term 1 (freshman were a close second). For the week of 11/11 – 11/15 members of the senior class will have access to an express line at lunch allowing them to proceed to the front of the line. Seniors MUST present their student ID in order to be allowed to gain access to the lunch express line.
It’s not too late to join the Tiger Speech Team! Pick up materials and sign up by Mr. Purrington’s room A252.
Born to Be Alive/Yellow Ribbon will be selling an assortment of t-shirts on November 14th and 15th during lunch - special pricing of $5 for short sleeved and $8.00 for long sleeved! Support Born to Be Alive/Yellow Ribbon and those struggling with depression, anxiety, or any mental illness by wearing one of these t-shirts on November 20th.
On Friday, November 15, all students are invited to come to the FACS food room at 11:30 for an ice cream social and to find out more about Business Professionals of America.
- Seniors: Nominations for Class of 2020 Motto, Song, Flower, & Colors are being accepted. Check your email for a link to the nomination form. Nominations will be accepted until November 15.
- Math team practice in room A206 Wednesday during lunch. This will take place from now until February.
- Order your yearbook today! Order forms are here or you may order online at marshallyearbook.com The cost of the book is $48 plus tax. The yearbook is a all delivery book and will arrive next September. If you haven't picked up your 2018-2019 book, please stop by the office to do so.
Student Services Announcements
- On Wednesday, December 11th sophomores will be taking the Pre-ACT from approximately 8:00-11:00 a.m. in the north gym. This time test encompasses the subject areas of Reading, English, Science, and Math. The Pre-ACT test also includes an interest inventory component to help students identify their interests in hopes of matching those interests with possible careers. Sophomores will be completing pre-test work during Ramp UP on November 20th and December 4th in preparation of testing.
Representatives from the following schools will be here on the following dates and at the time indicated. Interested juniors and seniors are asked to sign up in the Student Services Office:
