In the library, we have been continuing to dive deeper into our “Character and Plot” Genre Tree. Under this genre tree, we study books that depend heavily on character and plot to shape the story.
The branches we have been growing are:

A 3rd-6th Grade Shout Out!!
During the past couple weeks, 3rd-6th grade students have been practicing and training for the PARCC assessment. Our students and staff have done an absolutely fantastic job preparing to show what they know. This week, all 3rd-6th grade classrooms have been completing the PARCC assessment. They are doing an amazing job demonstrating patience, flexibility, and focus during this time to knock this thing out of the PARK!
