Making those near and far a little more familiar

Say Hello to Lawson & Brianna Wright!

As mobilizers for the Center for Mission Mobilization, Lawson & Brianna Wright serve by equipping and launching missions movements from the Church all over the world to where the gospel isn’t already known. From America, they recruit and train believers to go out and make mobilizers of all nations to achieve this end by God's grace.

This fall, they will be helping restart a local field team in Fayetteville, AR, as well as starting a training program for new staff who are hoping to live overseas with the CMM. By 2020, they will be leading this effort and in charge of building their own team that will serve with them in Arkansas and, in several years, overseas.

Lawson will also be helping to build the CMM's stateside recruiting strategy for future recruiting efforts as the CMM looks to send more teams to new locations in the coming years.

Recently, they welcomed their daughter Josephine into the world(see picture below)

A challenge that they face, and many of us often face, is how to get others to have the "fire" that moves us to action. When asked about a challenge in their field, they said;

"It can be really difficult sometimes to help students 'get' the need for mobilization, both overseas and on their campus. It's easy for them to pursue more tangible ministry opportunities, like camp or compassion organizations, which we totally love, but we also see a HUGE need for more laborers in the world, and especially for more laborers from the Church in other countries. So when we're working hard to spread knowledge, to model and invite and challenge students to step up as leaders, and they simply aren't interested, it can be tough. "

Please pray for them as they continue their work as mobilizers in God's field!
