Dewing School Information from Mrs. Gerrish and Mrs. Bosworth
Good Afternoon,
What a wonderful virtual turnout we had earlier this week for our Grade 1 and 2 Open House. We know that there were some families who could not attend, so we have attached our slideshow and video (this was a recording of a live video and we did notice a typo with the phone number while we were presenting). We have also attached the slideshow. There is some helpful information for all grades.
We have also included information on the test and stay/pool testing. We encourage families to sign up in advance. This way, if your child has been identified as a close contact at school and is not showing any COVID symptoms, they can be tested daily for five days and remain in school.

Children's clothes needed for Nurse's office
There are a number of reasons why a child might need a change of clothes during the school day. Many of our preschool parents automatically add some to their backpack, but it's not a common practice for our kids in Kindergarten through Grade 2.
We've run out of clothes that we give to children when they are unable to wear theirs for the rest of the day. We continue to purchase new underpants, but could use some tops and pants in a variety of sizes.
Please consider donating 2-3 pieces of gently used clothing - simple shirts, shorts, pants will be perfect.
We could also use 2-3 parents/adults to offer to come to school to sort the clothes once we have them and put them away in the new storage containers in the student area across from the nurse's office.
