Field trip lunches will be a bagel with cream cheese, yogurt tube, cheese stick, fruit, chips and a water. As we will not have the full range of options available on a normal lunch day, you are welcome to pack a lunch of your own instead of or to supplement the offerings.

Gold Mines Field Trip

Gold Mines Field Trip - Tuesday, May 30th

Money - your child is allowed to bring up to $10 to spend at the gift shop. Please do not send in more than $10 as we will not allow them to spend more than the allotted amount.

Spelling and Vocab

We focused on prefix dis-, mis-, mid- in spelling this week.


On Thursday, we introduced Unit 16 in our vocab. workbook. Please have your child review the words, definitions, synonyms, and antonyms over the long weekend. Unit 16 Vocab. Test is on Thursday, June 1st.

Math

This week in math, we learned how to interpret the remainder, divide tens, hundreds, and thousands, and how to use compatible numbers to estimate quotients. On Thursday, we took an open workbook assessment.
