Classroom Happenings
Be sure to check out their New Years Resolutions and "I have a dream" writings that are on display in the hall - so cute!
In Math we are finishing up our unit on Measurement with Mass and Volume. We will be doing our Mid Year Assessment next week and may begin Rounding to the nearest Ten and Hundred.
They are doing a great job looking up verses in the Bible. Many of them actually read Joshua 1 and 2 independently in the classroom!!! I have challenged them to get in the habit of reading their Bibles, especially since they are all becoming such independent readers. A highlight of the week was acting out the story of Joshua, Rahab, and the Spies.
Homework Next Week-
Spelling - This list is pretty challenging so I have highlighted the pattern words they will be tested on (along with the 12 Memory Words). I also starred 2 words that will be bonus challenge words.
