What's Going On In The World Of #FAPBG-Wk. of March 26

Week in Review

HAPPY SPRING BREAK! We had a fun week finishing out quarter three. As we gear up for the final quarter of the school year, I'd like to take this moment to thank all of our families for their support and cooperation this year. We have come together as a school community to make positive changes and continuing improving our school of excellence each day. I am so proud of the hard work our students, teachers, staff, and parents put in each day and am honored to be able to work with all of you. I hope that you all enjoy your spring break and are able to spend time with those you cherish most.

Please remember there is no school for students March 16th through March 23rd. School resumes March 26th and we will be beginning the 4th quarter on that date. I look forward to seeing everyone when we return March 26th.

Pick Up Traffic

One Wednesday, March 14th, we received another visit from members of the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department in regards to our dismissal car line. They brought with them photographs of our parents causing traffic issues on Hood Road prior to our elementary dismissal. Lining up early for dismissal creates a road hazard for motorists on Hood Road, as it causes drivers to have to drive on the wrong side of the road to go around our line. Please be advised that PBGPD will be sending additional units prior to elementary dismissal to warn and then ticket anyone lined up early and blocking Hood Road.

Sports Supervision

While we love to have our students and families come out and cheer on our Patriots. please remember that all Franklin students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while watching the games. If you are not able to join your child in cheering on our teams, they can join the Patriot Pack and stay under the supervision of Coach DeFelice. Students not registered with the Patriot Pack cannot stay unsupervised for games. They must be picked up and can then return with a parent or guardian to watch the game. Please email Coach D ( for more information on the Patriot Pack or with any questions.
