Our Myers elementary fifth grade students tried out some string instruments! The students experienced what it was like to play the violin, viola, cello, and bass to see if they may want to learn how to play them in sixth grade next year. Next week, the fifth grade students across the district will visit the high school to listen to performances by the PHS band, choir, and orchestra.

Myers elementary gym receives new flooring

Our maintenance crew was hard at work over break installing new flooring in the Myers Elementary School gymnasium! The previous carpet flooring was replaced with MONDO resilient athletic flooring. The new material is durable, provides proper foot support and shock absorption, and promotes indoor air quality.

Thank you to our maintenance department for their hard work and making sure the floor was ready for our students when they returned. We hope our Myers students and staff enjoy their new gym floor!
