McMillen HS Band UIL Season Accomplishments!
Congratulations to the MHS Golden Roar Band for earning Division 1 (Superior) Ratings from all 3 judges at the UIL Marching Band Contest this past Saturday at Kimbrough Stadium. This is the highest performance rating a band can earn at this contest.
This concludes our competitive marching season. Catch the MHS Band in their final performance of "When the Clock Strikes Midnight" at the PESH JV Game on 10/28.
The Golden Roar Band is under the student leadership of Drum Majors Diya Damodaran, Logan Herris, and Sweta Valisammagari.
Section Leaders are Aiden Ho, Esha Gupta, Ashley Morrison, Melanie Pinkerton, Noah Dujon Lim, James Morgan, Abdiel Quintanilla, Sadie Neely, Jonathan Shurtleff, Anish Saraf, John Simpsen, Alex Gilliland, Brandon Hernandez, Isabelle Trotter, Justin Smith, and Adalyn Rutherford.
Drum Captain is Caleb Trippe.
Color Guard Captains are Danielle Matocha and Sherlin Santiago.
Directors are Josh Kurzweil, Lindsay Barnhill, Kevin West, Katharine Navarro, and Jeremy Seneca.
The directors are very proud of our hardworking students. Congrats to our outstanding student musicians for their hard work this season!
