Student: Technology Updates and Reminders
New and Transferred Students:
Once enrolled it can take a student 24-48 hrs to gain access to all of our instructional applications. If, after that time, your student is still not able to access their applications, please submit a support ticket with our helpdesk.
Google Hangouts
At the request of site leadership, Google Hangouts has been disabled for students. Communication between teachers and students should be conducted through the Canvas Inbox.

Tips & Tricks
A few issues being seen on our devices can be fixed by simply clearing your cache. Our ITS Techs will often recommend this when helping user troubleshoot issues. You can follow the steps outlined below to start when troubleshooting on your own.
In the Chrome Browser
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top-right, click on the three vertical dots (the more options menu).
- Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files", select the boxes.
- Click Clear data.
Teacher Laptop Deployment
Laptops have been checked out to most rostered teachers at this time. If you are a teacher with a roster of students and you were unable to check out a laptop during the secondary or elementary times, please submit a ticket to make an appointment at Curbside Tech Support. You can do this by visiting gopusd.com/helpdesk, then select Device Checkout, then Rostered Teacher Laptop.
Google Meet
- Maximum meeting length of one hour
- Maximum meeting participants of 100
- No live streaming
- Recorded Meetings won't be saved to Google Drive
Webex Calling
- Select Webex as your ticket category
- Include your assigned site location
- Include your current assigned extension number
Once our team is able to verify your account and assign your extension to your PUSD email account, you should gain access the the calling feature within Webex Teams.
