Madison D'Cruz
Branch of Service: Pennsylvania Army National Guard
Why You Chose The Military: The military has been a part of my family for generations. Every single generation from beyond the past years has served. I chose to serve this country not just for my family, but for the people. It moves me to protect the freedom of our people. To show young women like me that anything is possible. Chase your dreams. Be that officer. Be that Sergeant. Be the Commander. Show the world that you are capable of whatever you set your mind to. The only thing to fear is fear itself.
Why You Chose This Branch: I chose the Army National Guard because it’s the right fit for me. It pushes me to my limits. It persuaded me to be who I want to be. While also being committed at Delaware Valley University, this gives me a chance to start my career early and push me to the career path I need.
Future Profession: My heart lies in the hands of the medical field. Being around the trauma and the people in need gives me a rush of adrenaline, the rush of getting things done, and the rush to save lives.
What you’ll remember most about QCSD? I moved to Quakertown from New York in 2019, The best thing that has happened to me since, was meeting my friends. My small group of people that keep me going.
