Cottonwood Currents
September 26, 2018
Hello from the Cottonwood PTO!
Every other week you'll receive this e-newsletter to share what's happening with the CES PTO. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, too. Click here to join the group.
Greater Andover Days starts Thursday!
Cottonwood will participate in the parade this Saturday, September 29! We will meet at 9:40 a.m. (the parade begins at 10 a.m.) in the Andover High/Middle School parking lots. The parade route starts at Cottonwood and travels down Andover Road to Andover Central High School. We will have a Mad Hatter/Cheshire Cat themed float. Students are invited to walk with our float and are encouraged to wear jeans with a red or white shirt. The first 40 students will be given a playing card costume to wear during the parade. We are also planning to have a Queen of Hearts who will be followed by her Heart Card Soldiers (our Cottonwood students). If anyone has a Mad Hatter-style hat they would like to wear in the parade, or would like to help with the float, please email Tijen. We also encourage parade walkers to bring one to two bags of candy to hand out along the route. Continue to watch the Cottonwood PTO Facebook page for more details.
A list of activities for the three days of fun can be found here.

Food Labels for Fundraising due October 23
Not only do we make money from turning in Box Tops, we also raise funds from Coke Rewards and Tyson Foods.
Look for BoxTop labels on your boxes of Kleenex, cereal, Go-Gurt, dish detergent, etc. You'll find Coke Rewards on the bottle caps and inside the packaging. Tyson labels are on your favorite bag of Tyson chicken.
Simply cut these out and send them to school with your student in the brown bags that came home last week by October 23.
