Who made these pyramids?
These pyramids were built by farmers during the Nile floods. They were built for the Pharaoh's . Some pharaoh's that you might know include, Ramesses II, Tutankhamun,and Cleopatra.

King Khufu
Khufu was the second pharaoh of the fourth dynasty. He was the one who was famous for building the Great Step Pyramid or in other word, the Great Pyramid of Giza. This is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Hatshepsut
meaning Foremost of Noble Ladies;[5] 1508–1458 BC) was the fifth pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty of Egypt. Hatshepsut came to the throne of Egypt in 1478 BC. Officially, she ruled jointly with Thutmose III who had ascended to the throne as a child one year earlier. Hatshepsut was the chief wife of Thutmose II, Thutmose III’s father.
What technique was used to build pyramids?
The people moved massive stone blocks across the desert by wetting the sand. Then they built on block by block.
Why did the ancient Egyptians use the pyramid shape?
The pyramids were built to have sloping sides so that the dead Pharaoh could symbolically climb to the sky and live forever.
