This Week at the Park
University Park Elementary News-January 10th, 2022
Ready for the New Year!
As part of our preparation for the second semester, University Park along with our School District is continuing with following mitigation procedures. This is to ensure the safety of students as the Omicron variant has caused a surge in COVID cases.
At this time, masks are strongly suggested and encouraged especially over the next few weeks as our students and staff return. Dr. Mullins our Superintendent sent out a message to families prior to the new school year. Please take time to read through it.
We are excited to see what this second semester will bring into the lives of our community. We will continue to be CHAMPIONS for our students. Happy New Year to all!

If someone in the house has tested positive for COVID...
If someone in the student's house has tested positive for COVID in the last 10 days, please call the front office to let us know.
If the student is positive: May return after student receives a negative COVID test (must bring in negative test result) and is asymptomatic OR 10 days have passed since symptoms started and has had no fever for 24 hours and symptoms are improving.
If someone else in the house is positive: If the student is asymptomatic, student may either remain home and quarantine up to 7 days since last date of exposure or may come to school as long as he/she remains asymptomatic. If the student begins having symptoms, he/she must quarantine for 10 days or bring in a negative COVID result.
Please call the front office at 321-723-2566 to let us know if either of these applies to your student. We must keep documentation and code his/her absence accordingly so it is excused.
