FSHS: US News & World Report

Once again we are thrilled to share the exciting news that Frontier STEM High School (FSHS) has achieved a remarkable distinction in the latest rankings by US News & World Report.

FSHS has been recognized as one of the top high schools in Missouri, a testament to our commitment to excellence in education. This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication and hard work of our incredible educators, staff, and students. We are immensely proud of this honor and will continue to strive for even greater success in the future.

Meet Our MCPSA Star Teacher of the Year Recipient!

Congratulations to FSI Middle's Melissa Stephens for winning the Star Teacher of the Year award at Missouri Charter Public School Association's Kansas City Excellence in Education Awards! We would also like to congratulate our two finalists, Shannon Edmonds, FSI Elementary, and Amber Lucas, FSI Middle.

The Kansas City Excellence in Education Award celebrates the work of exceptional public school educators and staff from both charter and district schools. They received over 175 nominations this year, and 20 finalists were selected. The winners were announced over the summer.

It just goes to show that hard work and passion really goes a long way. Congratulations on your outstanding achievement, Ms. Stephens!

FSI Elementary Welcomes Back the KCCG

The Kansas City Community Gardens (KCCG) has returned to FSI Elementary for another great season of harvesting! New and returning students have an awesome opportunity to learn more about plants and gardening with hands-on experience!

FSHS Joins Hands with Community Blood Center for Life-Saving Blood Drive

As an meaningful part of HOSA, PLTW and helping out the local community, FSHS hosted a blood drive in collaboration with the Community Blood Center on September 1st. This impactful event provided an opportunity for our students, staff, and community members to come together and help save lives through blood donation. Thank you to all blood donors!

Meal Program

Frontier Schools participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. These programs are federally assisted meal program developed to provide balance, low-cost or no-cost meals to students. American Dining Creations caters Frontier Schools' meals. American Dining Creations is a subsidiary of American Food & Vending, which is a national food service company. Meals served are planned according to federal regulations under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). These regulations are to ensure all meals are nutritionally balanced.
