SPED, 504, MTSS
SPED- if any teacher is missing an IEP at a glance for any special education student, please email Suzy.Santos@ppsd.org and I will send those to you.
504- The 504 team is meeting every Wednesday afternoon to review 504 plans with parents and find eligibility of students referred to the 504 team.
MTSS- The team is meeting every Wednesday morning to review referrals and meet with parents. We are working hard to provide students with services and interventions to be successful in school.
It is very important for general education teachers to complete progress reports sent by any of these teams on specific students. This information is reported to the parents and helps determine the type of services and interventions that the student requires!

8th Grade Advisories will be participating in JA Inspire Career Fair this year in December. 8th Grade Advisors will be receiving a copy of the Teacher Guide to complete the curriculum activities with students during Advisory. All 8th graders must complete the Pre-Survey and the “Career Interest Survey” which can be found online. If a student doesn’t complete the “Career Interest Survey” they won’t be able to participate in the Career Fair in December.
Thursday, December 1, 2022 will be a Make-Up Day for those 8th graders that need to complete the Career Interest Survey. Information collected from this survey will be used to assign students to Career Clusters they can visit during the Career Fair December 15th.

Thank you,
