From the Principal's Desk...
Parents and Guardians,
On Monday, February 28th, we will start our IOWA testing for the 2022 school year. Testing will take place from 8am-10am each morning for 5 days (2/28, 3/1, 3/3, 3/4, and 3/7). We will take a break from testing on Wednesday, March 2nd so that we can celebrate Ash Wednesday as a school. I encourage students to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come prepared to do their best on these assessments. Students in grades 2-5 will be taking paper assessments and will need #2 pencils. Grades 6-8 will take their assessments online; be sure to fully charge their computers and bring a pair of headphones. The IOWA assessment data will be used to monitor the growth of our students from year to year and to help us identify areas of improvement for our school.
Spring conferences will be held on Thursday, March 17th. A sign-up sheet for spring conferences will be sent home on Friday 2/25. If you are interested in signing up for a conference, please return the paper by Wednesday, March 9th.
Thanks and have a great week!
