Principal Memo
I want to take a moment to thank all of the community members that have been on campus recently to volunteer. I know finding time is never easy, but the Fammatre Staff and I are extremely grateful for the time, money, and effort our families put into making Fammatre the amazing place it is. We are able to provide meaningful experiences to our students because of the efforts of the staff and community combined. Fammatre is a special place because of our collaborative efforts. Rest up this weekend and recharge, we are only halfway through the year. It has been wonderful so far, I can't wait to see what we can do together before June 16th!
Kindly,
Samantha Haley
Read-A-Thon Ends Today!
Today is the final day of the Read-a-thon, so try to get some extra reading time in if you can! Fammatre is in a VERY CLOSE 2nd place behind Steindorf. All minutes read (or listened to) between January 13th and the end of the day today count towards student’s reading minutes, whether you just created your account today or you are using a paper log. Our school goal is to read 244,560 minutes. As of this morning Fammatre has 206,106 minutes logged into Pledgestar. Paper logs will be added in before determining the final total. Help us meet our school-wide goal and win that trophy!
Bingo Cards are due today
Reading minutes count all day today. You have the weekend to get them all entered online.
Paper logs should be turned in on Monday.
Digital logging on Pledgestar ends at 5pm on Monday.
Registration is FREE. All rewards are based on minutes read. Fundraising is appreciated, but it is not required to participate. So far we have surpassed last year and have raised over $25,000. All funds raised go to Mental Health Resources for all of the Cambrian School District. Visit the Read-a-thon website to learn more. Register HERE or download the Pledgestar mobile app and enter “cambrian”.
Please reach out to our Fammatre CEF Representative and Read-a-thon Coordinator, Melissa Wuenschel, at vicepresident.fhsc@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Multilingual Learner Program Parent Survey
It is that of the year when we are in need of your assistance as we start our planning process for the next school year. This survey is designed to gather the opinions of parents and assess your knowledge about the school’s programs and services provided for your multilingual learner. Following analysis of your responses, the District and schools' English Learner Advisory Committees (ELAC/DELAC) will advise the district and schools on areas that may need improvement to support your children's education better. More importantly, your input will also inform the development process on the design and implementation of the district’s priorities for the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
Your participation in this survey is essential in the decision-making process, and we appreciate your assistance in taking the time to complete this survey.
You can preview the questions by clicking on the link below:
