MCCHS FRIDAY FOCUS
43rd Edition: September 15, 2017
Pilgrims on the Way of Truth
Oh, the Homecoming Proposals!
We have made one adjustment to the Homecoming Week schedule that you should be aware of: We have moved the PowderPuff Game time to 7:30 pm on Thursday, Sept. 28th (originally to be played at 6:30 pm) since we also have a home Volleyball Game starting at 6:00 pm. We wanted to make sure that our students could enjoy cheering BOTH great events!
Please remember that we don't have school on Monday, Sept. 18th, as our entire faculty will be heading to Belvidere for a Diocesan-wide in-service. And what great weather we are expecting to have for this long weekend! We hope you all are able to spend a little extra time with each-other and enjoy the sunshine!

Coffee with the Principal! Come Join Us Tuesday, Sept. 19th at 6:30 pm!
PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE to Sept. 19th (originally Sept. 21st) in the title, and in the linked invite! (this newsletter was updated 9/11/17 - we apologize for any confusion!)
Principal's Coffee was designed to invite parents to come and hear about what new things are brewing at Marian. It also allows parents to discuss ideas, concerns, and perspectives with regards to our school.
Please consider attending our first Principal's Coffee of the year, meet other parents, and talk with the Principal directly, all in the hopes of making Marian a stand-out from other high schools; providing the highest academics, spiritual guidance, and social/emotional support possible to our students.
If you cannot make this meeting, no worries. We hold one each quarter. This year we will be alternating our meeting times to meet the needs of more families. Quarters 1 & 3 will be held in the evening and Quarters 2 & 4 will be morning sessions.
