Kids Heart Challenge
Thank ;you so much for all of your efforts to help the American Heart Association. We beat our goal of $5000! That is an awesome first year for Linda Vista!! Our celebration event will be on March 3rd with a fun event for students at every grade level to go out and get their hearts pumping!
Book Fair
Our Book Fair will be the week of March 7-11 in the Library.
If you are an approved volunteer, Mrs. McCausland may be calling you to see if you are able to help with the Book Fair. She will let you know the details of how you can help. Stay tuned for flyers to be sent home with information about what books are available & how to safely send money for your student to spend, should you choose.
Upper Grader need help with Homework??!!
Don't forget - your child has access to Paper Education through their OUSD Single Sign On dashboard. Paper Education offers live support 24/7 for students in 4th-12th grades with staff that is trained and background-checked, and even speak a variety of languages! This is an amazing resource for students to use in all academic areas.
Trimester Awards Assembly on March 23rd
We are so excited to be able to invite parents on-campus for awards assemblies!
If your child is receiving an award this trimester, you will be receiving an invitation from their teacher to attend our Awards Assembly. To comply with all guidelines, awards assemblies will be held outside in our lunch area/stage. Please limit number of guests to 2 per child.
- TK & Kindergarten - 8:30am
- 1st-2nd grades - 9:10
- 3rd-4th grades - 10:30
- 5th-6th grades - 11:10
Please be sure to leave plenty of room for students to sit at the tables. with their classes.
Parents park in the lot or neighborhood and walk in through the gate to the right of the office. There will be sign-in sheets at the gate as well. Assemblies will last approximately 25-30 min. Masks will not be required, as the event will be held outdoors.
There will be an attestation form QR code to scan at the gate, per our current visitor policy.
